Summer Break! in blogging, not in the writing

Hello, everyone! Here’s a peaceful moment and few flora pics from a recent and very brief family gathering in Frisco, Colorado.

I usually only take a break from the blog for August, but this year I’m taking a break to complete line edits on my historical middle grade novel in prose and verse before heading to Maine. A deadline looms to keep the book on track for Summer 2026. I may pop in when I’m done with edits, but if not, see you in September!

Those are gorgeous photos! It’s smart to take a break from blogging. I ended up setting up my blog posts while I was away the past 2.5 weeks but, really, it’s better to just take a break. Good luck tackling your line edits!

        My utmost pleasure.
BTW, I was introduced to A River of Dust today by a dear friend. I’m saving my ¥ starting today to purchase a print copy for my granddaughter who’ll turn 5 in 5 years 😜 time. How beautiful! Thanks for writing it. I was also led to view the video where you tell me the story about that dust. Wow. I’m getting that book. Thank you. Be well. I send you blessings from Japan.

I am thrilled, honored, and grateful that you’re choosing to give DUST to your new granddaughter! Who knows what it may inspire her to think/do/be? The possibilities are endless in this glorious world of interconnected beings. Sending blessings and best wishes to you and yours.
