So HeyLookaWriterFellow issued a challenge. If I would post how my son feels about books written by celebrities for kids, he would create a one-of-a-kind stamp for my son.
Take a look at the Boycott Celebrity Children’s Books Acronym Contest at the above URL. He’s got some fantabulous entries!!
Tag, Mike. You’re it!
Well, you sure took your time with that one!
So! What kind of stamp would the fine young man like?
Sorry about that. Life is on fast forward.
Um, let me ask him tonight after he gets home from school. Thanks! He’s very excited about this. :o)
Well, believe it or not, he doesn’t want anything scatological. I know, unusual for a 9-yr-old boy. Rather, something “cat-ological.” Specifically, a kitten with a ball of yarn. Hmmm. Is that doable?
Your boy sounds sassy – good for him!!! 🙂 Love the picture! 🙂
Yes, he’s dressed like Inspector “Clue-seau” and says in answer to the Clue questions: Who committed the murder? in what room? with what weapon? “Madonna did it in the library with a pen.”
What a wonderful boy.
Cats?! But I’m allergic AND I have an ongoing war with the feral cats in my yard that menace my beloved squirrels…but fiiine.
Sigh. I’m on it.
Yes, so are we. Our son has been wanting a cat for YEARS. Hence the fixation on all things purrry and furry. I hope you survive any allergy attacks this may bring on.
I’ll take Benadryl before I begin drawing.
Are you sure he wouldn’t like to own a clever rat or a sweet guinea pig?
Other than watching and loving Ratatouille, I can’t get beyond their bad rap. And I’m not sure about a guinea pig. Do they squeal?
